Tamasyn Gambell & Førest London

Tamasyn Gambell designs timeless screen-printed home accessories and stationery; all produced using the most eco-friendly materials and processes possible. Graphic designs, using bold colour and considered pattern are artfully printed onto lampshades, soft furnishings and notebooks.

Tamasyn’s striking new lampshades caught my eye as part of Top Drawer London’s spotted feature. The lampshades and home furnishings are part of a recently launched collaborative collection with Tamasyn and mid-centrury furniture and design shop Førest London. the shop, owned by Dutch design enthusiast and London College of Fashion graduate, Eva Coppens, showcases reupholstered Scandinavian and Dutch furniture, vintage lamps, and pottery.

With her work already stocked by MoMA and Liberty’s of London. Her Bauhaus-meets-modernist prints work perfectly with the vintage aesthetic of Førest London’s Scandinavian finds.

Part of the cockpit arts collective Tamasyn worked in Paris for high-end companies such as Louis Vuitton, and Sonia Rykiel, trend agencies Nelli Rodi, Promostyle, and WGSN and high street brand H&M as a women’s-wear print designer before launching her own brand.
