Monumental Cookie Cutters from Phil Goods

The trend for the handcrafted continues to grow; you can even see it in our food choices. Comfort food, nostalgia, and home baking have become big themes over the past few years. We’re making more food from scratch, and creating more personal dishes, just like mum or grandma used too.
We’re introducing more fun, personality and informality into our kitchens too. Incorporating retro products, nostalgia, feel good foods of the past, and home baked treats.
I spied these Cookie Cutters during a recent trip to Munich. The series of cutters depicts famous monuments in jewel colours, reduced to just an outline. From the Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria - the inspiration for the Castle in Disney’s Sleeping Beauty – to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Phil Goods has a Cookie Cutter to match, and a recipe too. Just the thing if you’re looking to inject a bit of home baked personality into your kitchen. And a refreshing change from the usual nursery shaped cookie cutters which have become the norm.
