Origami inspired Swallow Pouffe by Fun Makes Good

This origami swallow motif pouffe by Fun Makes Good is the work of Glasgow based textile designer and upholsterer Eleanor Young. She specialises in reworking previously unloved items of furniture into playful and unique statement pieces for the home.

Artfully combining detailed embroidery with bold fragmented patterns and unusual colour combinations to great effect.  She produces striking upholstery designs using locally sourced wools, leathers and hand dyed cotton and takes her inspiration from contemporary architectural forms and fragmented shapes.

Made from hand dyed cotton, satin and leather patchwork her striking and beautifully high end pouffes are just the thing to rest your tired tootsies on after a hard day at the office. I've also got my eye on the Pi.iii design pictured below. There are so many great patterns to choose from it's difficult to pick just one!
