David David x Glass Hill geometric chair

I was totally struck by the bold graphic shapes of this perfectly proportioned and very edgy David David x Glass Hill geometric chair the first time I saw it, and a month later I'm still in love.

Its simplicity perfectly complements the bold pencil crayon designs, which have been individually hand-drawn by David David creative director David Saunders.

David has a background in fine art, having previously worked with such artistic luminaries as Tracey Emin and Mat Colishaw prior to entering the world of fashion.

His label David David is best known for its vivid geometric prints, shown at London Fashion Week as part of the British Fashion Council’s New Generation Foundation.

The chair represents the first step in an ongoing collaboration between Glass Hill makers Markus Bergström and Joe Nunn and the David David fashion label.

Originally made by Glass Hill in white beech as a commission from Phillips De Pury & Co for their retail space in the Saatchi Gallery, the David David x Glass Hill version is the same chair but in this case it's been embellished with signature David David geometric patterns. A very limited edition of only 25 chairs have been produced. Oh how I wish I could be the owner of just one!
